CLiME 1Q Survey: What is the Greater Newark Area?

22 January 2017

Metropolitan equity is the idea that all parts of a region are relevant to the distribution of opportunity in any part of that region. As CLiME continues our work on metropolitan equity in the Greater Newark Area, we invite our readers to help us define the geographical boundaries of the Greater Newark Area.

For example, the Greater Newark Area probably includes Irvington, but what about Union? Does it include all of Elizabeth or just the area surrounding Newark Airport? If it includes Bloomfield, does it also include Montclair?

Please take a minute to fill our our QUICK 1 QUESTION SURVEY here to help us inform community organization and policy-makers about how to define the region.
