Joshua Miller

Joshua Miller is an interdisciplinary social scientist, current practitioner, and non-profit leader who uses empirically-driven research to advocate for underserved communities across various public policy domains. Dr. Miller primarily focuses on using research to advocate before state and federal lawmakers to help create ecosystems for Black-owned and women-owned small businesses. Additionally, his research has focused on criminal justice reform, public health disparities, public health behaviors, and disparities in higher education funding. 

Dr. Miller recently worked with the U.S. House of Representatives, United Negro College Fund, and as a lecturer of Black Politics for Bowie State University. Dr. Miller received his two master's degrees and PH.D. in political science and presidential studies from Howard University and the Catholic University of America.
