Ryan Houser

Ryan Houser is a CLiME Research Fellow focusing on health disparities. Ryan was previously a dual-fellow at Georgetown University within the Center for Global Health Science and Security and O'Neill Institute For National And Global Health Law – Georgetown University Law Center. During his time as a Global Health Initiative fellow at GULC, Ryan engaged in a legal analysis of policies adopted to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, as well as courts’ decisions at the federal and state level. Ryan has additionally conducted further research with GULC’s COVID-19 Law Lab Consortium to analyze human rights impacts of public health laws and determine best practices to guide immediate responses to COVID-19 and socioeconomic recovery efforts once the pandemic is under control. Ryan has also conducted research with New Jersey Medical School (neurosurgery) and Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick (physiological psychology).
